Having navigated divorce herself, Sara understands the pain and uncertainty that can arise when relationships and families do not unfold as expected. She later built a loving blended family that has flourished for nearly two decades. Today, all six of their children are married, and she is a proud grandmother to many beautiful grandchildren.
Sara often says that her work is also grounded in the “school of hard knocks.” She has experienced firsthand what it means to work intentionally on a marriage—and she continues to reap the rewards of that commitment. These experiences inform The Emotional Marriage Method, her practical and compassionate approach to helping couples recognize recurring conflict patterns, improve communication, rebuild emotional safety, and repair their connection with intention. Drawing upon extensive relationship education and nearly two decades of coaching experience, Sara helps married, remarried, and blended-family couples build stronger, more connected relationships.

When couples keep having the same fight, the visible topic is often only part of the problem. Coaching slows the interaction down so you can see the trigger, the pain underneath it, the protective reactions, and the place where repair keeps breaking down.
Recognize what keeps setting the cycle in motion.
Make sense of the hurt beneath the protective reaction.
Use new ways to listen, respond, and stay present.
Turn insight into a more secure way forward.
Sara’s coaching meets people at the point they may not talk about out loud: the marriage that looks fine but feels lonely, the trust that cracked, the same fight that keeps returning, or the relationship pattern that seems impossible to change.
Coaching helps slow those patterns down, make the underlying pain easier to understand, and turn insight into practical changes that can be used in real conversations at home.
This work is warm, practical, pattern-focused, and repair-centered. Coaching and relationship education are different from psychotherapy; Sara’s current private work is coaching, not psychotherapy.
Different people need different entry points. Sara draws from established relationship approaches and adapts them to the person, the relationship, and the moment you are in.
Together, these tools support work that is pattern-focused and repair-centered.
