Is this the support you are looking for?

  • The same argument keeps returning, even after you try to resolve it.
  • One person pushes to talk while the other withdraws or shuts down.
  • Daily logistics have replaced friendship and emotional closeness.
  • You want to rebuild trust, navigate parenting differences, or strengthen your marriage before resentment grows.

What you can work toward

Feel heard

Practice listening for the meaning and feeling beneath your partner’s words before responding.

Handle disagreement

Notice escalation earlier and practice calmer openings, respectful pauses, and returning to the conversation.

Rebuild connection

Develop practical ways to express needs, show appreciation, and maintain warmth in everyday life.

What happens in sessions?

Core couples sessions are 90 minutes, generally held weekly. The first session makes room for each partner’s experience: what brings you in, where you feel stuck, and what you hope will change. Sara helps you understand the interaction between you and practice specific communication and repair skills. Worksheets or exercises may support your work between sessions.

How are fees and next steps explained?

Coaching is offered through structured packages. Sara will discuss the appropriate options, fees, and payment arrangements privately before you decide to begin. An introductory option may be available if you want to experience the work before choosing a longer package.

Common questions

Do both spouses need to attend?

Both partners can work together, and individuals can also begin alone. If your spouse is not ready, discuss individual relationship coaching during the consultation.

Is couples coaching only for a marriage in crisis?

No. Couples may begin to strengthen communication, friendship, and connection before difficulties become entrenched.

Will coaching save our marriage?

No outcome can be guaranteed. Coaching helps you understand your relationship more clearly and practice different ways of relating; the direction depends on your situation and both partners’ choices.

Sara’s private practice offers coaching and relationship education, not psychotherapy. Coaching is not appropriate for every situation; the consultation helps clarify the right support.
